Default Consumables NPC for the Guild hall

If this could be turned into a poll that would be great.

Whats everyones thoughts about a NPC trader at the guild hall for consumables,Grail, essence,Powerstone,Armor,Ps kit,Star, and res scrolls.

all priced the same as in EOTN.

The guild lord could charge 200k in 100k installments for this NPC.

I see no harm in this idea and it would help so many people.

Hm... each [consumables] NPC has a 'specialty'.

I would agree with th other consumables, there could be even new ones, like crates of fireworks. But not the 'specialties'. Those should remain unique to each reputation.

There could be consumables NPCs in the other campaigns with their own unique consumables.

Would allow people without access to GW:EN to buy consumables. Now, the title requirement might still be present, but then people who used the GW:EN preview/trail weekend who don't own GW:EN might theoretically be able to buy consumables.

The only issue I see with it is the reputation ranks, how would you work around that?

Not have them accessible until rank 3/4 (I forget), or have each item craftable at the respective ranks but lock the others until you achieve the ranks?

It just seems a lot of work to make things slightly easier.

I don't care either way though, since I really only craft celerities[ftw].

Great idea, HOWEVER....

People without GWEN would now have access to consumables. Infact it would be possible for an entire guild of which not a single member owns GWEN to have access to consumables.

And thats why they are not there, of course the AB guys are there even to people without factions, just not accessable, so who the hell knows

/signed IF only people with GWEN can see/use the NPC in the hall

Well.. me and some fellow guildes thought of the same thing and it would be awesome to a such trader in gh. To you guys who don't like people without EotN to have access to the trader... the person without EotN could just ask a fellow guildie to craft it. Titles isn't that big of a deal anyway.. r3 or 4 is quite easy to get imo. So.. my point was that everyone should have access to the trader

^this is not a valid point people without gwen buy them from people selling consumable sets so again how does this hurt anyone?

if it cost 100k
That would be fine to keep the ranks at 3, and keep it so only people with GWEN can use this NPC, everyone should be able to see it but those without GWEN can not use it.

that is why it would cost 200k or even 300k. it would bypass the specialty consumes, the extra cost is for them adding them to 1 NPC

While we are at it, can we add an armorer with every set of ascended/prestige/elite/whatever you want to call it armor in the game too. Can we even take away the whole game and just have the guild hall where we can buy stuff and stand there looking at each other.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Are you really worried about that?

People can already just give a friend the materials and cash and have the friend get them! (As for skill points, those are practically worthless and incredibly easy to come by.) This changes nothing except who gets to finally put all those skill points to use.

I second that.

Could the storage also pay monthly interest for the gold we leave in it ? While we're at it, a seafood buffet and a fully stocked up bar would be nice too for my GH.

my idea is a very good one and I bet most people would want it, it does not hurt the game in anyway and only helps players.
Do you not want to help people?
do you not want others to have the same advantage as you?
are you that selfish?

explain why you put up that please or GTFO.

Then sorry, but no.

Guild Hall NPC max price is 100k. Because characters can have more than 100k at the same time.
Multiple payments or accessing the storage gold is discarded.

It would be much better if they had the 3 common items:
* Scroll of Resurrection
* Star of Transference
* Perfect salvage kit.

And then each different NPC its own specialty:
- Ebon Vanguard: Powerstone of Courage
- Norn: Grail of Might
- Asura: Essence of Celerity
- Deldrimor: Armor of Salvation

And then there culd be others:
- Guild Hall: Crate of Fireworks (10 minutes of fireworks in Guild Halls, +3 points for Party Animal)
- Luxon/Kuzick: Scroll of Renown (+100% faction/promotion/reputation per single kill for 30 minutes (do not affect bonus rewards like when killing bosses or when getting quest rewards)
- Lightbringer: Lamp of Wishes. (All disabled skills reactivate and players skills can't be disabled for 5 minutes.)
- Sunspear: Badge of Siccing. (+25% chances of critical hits and +10% armor penetration in spells for 10 minutes)

All of them costing 1 skill point + materials + gold.

There are a couple issues:

1. Consumable NPC is not global which mean you can not find them anywhere beside the place they are in GWEN. That mean People who don't have GWEN can MAKE (Sorry not buy ok?) the items they design. Even for those who have GWEN, it's not fair either because you can make the item even if you DON'T have the designated place.

2. There are 3 types of consumable depending on races. Yes that mean you have to have 3 of them in GH? Beside it requires a specific rank in the race in order to buy these kind of items. It's too troublesome for an unneccessary purpose.

It's the feature specify for GWEN. Can't be put on GH and turn it into global.

Please whine more! First, your idea isn't good. It's your assumption that it's very good. Oh it does not hurt? Believe it, it does, those who don't have GWEN can have access to those? Sorry it's GWEN feature not other campaign. Selfish? Well, I pay money for the GWEN, I have the right to use it. If it can be used by others, sorry, Anet plz give me money back.

I actually like this suggestion and it can work. I think that the reputation could still hold up and let it work, but I think it should only be accessible if they have EOTN. Even though people will complain that EOTNers will buy them for guildies, that can happen anyway. One guy with all of the consumables, but each repective rep points stands.

Agree completely, 4 types of consumable though, assuming you forgot the armor of salvation from dwarven in central transfer chamber. Others are powerstone of courage, norn, gunnars hold; essence of celerity, asuran, rata sum; grail of might, ebon vanguard, eye of the north.

Still don't like the idea of making stuff easier to get access to though. Personally, I love the idea of having it accessible to me in the guild hall, but then again I have visited all of those towns and have r3+ on all of those titles. I think that in order to get access to those you should have to do the same. Since I doubt that Anet wants to code that much into the NPCs in guild hall, and do it for 4 different NPCs (that I would go with 50-100k a piece on) I am still /notsign on this. Would probably be another NPC for drunkard, party animal, or sweettooth tracks.
